FRP grating and covers
FRP grating for walkways, trenches and pits
FRP grating replaces steel where corrosion, weight or electrical conductivity are problems — water and wastewater treatment, chemical plant, coastal and industrial sites across the UAE. It does not rust, needs no painting, and its anti-slip surface is part of the panel rather than a coating that wears off.
What we supply

Why FRP over steel or galvanised grating
- No corrosion, no repainting. Galvanising eventually fails at cut edges; FRP has no coating to fail.
- Non-conductive. Specified around substations and electrical plant where steel is a hazard.
- Light. Roughly a quarter the weight of a steel panel of the same size — two people can lift what previously needed plant.
- Anti-slip that lasts. The gritted surface is integral, so it does not polish smooth with traffic.
- Quiet and comfortable. Less ringing underfoot than steel, and it does not get as hot in direct sun.
